“The Golden Vanity”, performed live by Crooked Still for the filming of The Porchlight Sessions. Shot in 2010 at the first ever The Festy in Nelson County, VA, which is an annual festival put on by The Infamous Stringdusters.

This performance is a true manifestation of what it means to have a “porchlight session” and features a performance by the Porchlight Band of Sierra Hull, Andy Hall, Matt Wingate, Brittany Haas, Todd Phillips, and Alison Brown. These guys came together one afternoon, chose songs they could play, and then an hour later we were filming! I was blown away at how much they sounded like they’d been together for years.
